As an artist, I don't feel hemmed in by any borders: Milla has Russian origins, Mathieu Kassovitz French, Gary Oldman English and Bruce Willis American. If an actor is good, he's good and attracts me whatever his nationality or language. I leave the debate and squabble over a film's nationality to others. The only criteria I'm interested in is whether such and such a movie is good or not. Working on this production in a language that isn't my mother tongue wasn't a problem in itself. Things just took a little bit longer sometimes...
